Course Descriptions

 

Sometimes, especially as our children get older, we want something to guide us through the maze of courses. In some states or homeschool satellite programs, a written course of study with required each year.

This simple form will allow you to determine what courses you want to teach each year and how you want to teach it. It isn’t necessary to teach each subject listed each year or all year. You and your child may also choose methods of learning other than textbooks.

Take a look at the sample in Harried Homeschoolers Handbook. All you need is a course title (which can be as simple as English 1, English 2, etc, a general description (if it doesn’t fit in the space provided, it’s too long), and any books you may use. The books don’t have to be textbooks and it may not be possible to list all of them. If no books are required, leave that space blank … it’s o.k.
